Topic 1 : USG Guided Regional Anaesthesia
Speaker : Prof. Dr. Anuj Jung Rayamajhi
( Presenter )
This course is a one-day Hands- on USG guided Regional Anesthesia workhsop. Our aim is to teach technique of performing a wide variety of USG nerve blocks with a clear understanding of sonoanatomy. Peripheral nerve blocks would include include lower limb, erector spinae block and POCUS. Sonoanatomy of spine for usg assisted spinal and epidural would also be discussed. It is an illustrative and interactive lecture followed by hands-on USG guided Regional Anesthesia training on live models.
GOALS:
1.Interpret various sonographic views correlation with anatomical structures.
2.Demonstrate the correct sonoanatomy for identification of the lower extremity’s nerve along with vascular and musculoskeletal structures
3.Demonstrate the correct sonoanatomy of spine for performance of usg assisted spinal & epidural and erector spinae block along with identification of spine level.
4.Use of usg in identifying & differentiating the different possibilities of shock by evaluating the heart, lungs , abdomen and inferior cava.
