It is an honor to serve as the General Secretary of the Society of Anesthesiologists of Nepal for the tenure 2025–2027. I extend my sincere gratitude to all members for placing your trust and confidence in me.

Anesthesiology is an ever-evolving specialty, crucial not only to the operating room but also in intensive care, pain management, emergency medicine, perioperative and palliative care. In this dynamic landscape, the role of our society becomes increasingly significant. As a professional society, we need work collaboratively to harness this growth in a way that enhances patient care, supports professional development, and addresses the systemic challenges that accompany rapid expansion. We welcome the active involvement of all members - junior and senior, from every region to share ideas, voice concerns, and contribute toward common goals. I firmly believe that it is only through collective effort that we can elevate the standards of our practice and ultimately improve the lives of the patients we serve.
