Society of Anaesthesiologists of Nepal successfully organized its 25th Annual Conference (SANCON 2026) on 13–14 February 2026 at Pokhara Event Center, Pokhara.
The conference was held under the theme “Mind Behind the Monitor: Human Intelligence in Anesthesia.” The event brought together anesthesiologists and medical professionals from across Nepal and abroad to discuss recent developments, challenges, and innovations in anesthesia practice.
The scientific program included keynote lectures, panel discussions, oral and poster presentations, and practical workshops. Major topics covered patient safety, perioperative care, critical care anesthesia, and the role of human intelligence in clinical decision-making.
According to the organizers, the conference aimed to strengthen professional collaboration and improve the quality of anesthesia services in Nepal. Participants shared research findings and clinical experiences, contributing to academic exchange and professional growth.
